The Cabal Vision night-show drew 31.000 spectators, not bad for a Saturday night.
Despite hard attempts, not much happened during this game. The ball was kicked, caught, lost, retrieved and kept out of both end-zones during first half.
In second half, Fjellheim Atrocities used a slower tactic, not rushing out into the open unless they were sure to outrun the orks, .And they did, eventually, run away from the orks and into the open, the two ghouls, with the ball, stalling a couple turns, before Wright'and McFife finally carried it into the end-zone for a touchdown (later to be known as the winning TD).
This only gave the orks 2 turns to counter for a tie, but they focused on blocking and fouling rather than passing the ball to the only, well covered, receiver within a distance to score.
So when da Boss o' Moons was spotted for a foul and sent off, ending the game, the bookies were already paying out bets on Fjellheim Atrocities as the winners.. |
