Purple Bluebirds gets the fame but loose the coin toss. Hooves of Hashut selects to receive in the first half.
Hooves of Hashut is in controll, and a lot of bad mojo is reflected on the dice rolls of Purple Bluebirds.  Sven Normin is almost killed by Marduk Firemane  , but the apothecary slightly reduce the damage to only a fractured skull.
The turning point is when Purple Bluebirds use their hired wizard to blast Hammurabi away from the ball carrier, only saved from certain death by a skilled apothecary. This makes the blitz fairly easy as the ball carrier is open, and Purple Bluebirds recovers the ball and scores the first TD for a lead. Somehow this was also the end of lucky dice from Hooves of Hashut's side.
Later, after another kickoff recovery from Purple Bluebirds, Givremoman Storeklore fails to catch the accurate TD pass, and droppes the ball out of bounds. Balldur Fetcher manage to catch and score another TD later on though.
Givremoman Storeklore redeems himself by intercepting a close to TD pass from Chinggis to Ammiditana, surprising the eager Hooves of Hashut offence. Givremoman Storeklore then rush the ball towards the midfield, and makes a long pass to Ivan Shureglove who's within 1 GFI range from the endzone. TOUCHDOWN!
A solid victory for the South Conference Champions - Purple Bluebirds. They claim the AnBBL Champions' Trophy, and the Current Champions title for the AnBBL.
As Helmut Knockson steps up and receives the AnBBL Champions Trophy, he earns the extra MVP that comes with that symbolic act. |
