A beautiful day with perfect blood bowl weather for the Nellie final. The Crimson Tide paid to have Wilhelm Chaney play for them. Ivar Eriksson accepted an invitation to boost the halfings. People were not quite agreed on who's the favorite in the matchup, as both teams had strong winning pieces.
The vamps started kicking, keeping up hard pressure on the ball, and took out the flings' main flyer.
Sadly due to Ivar's one move ability, the hin's were allowed to toss Halverik Gibostad instead, who'd been so lucky as to catch the bouncing ball. Landing perfectly for the first touchdown of the match.
Vamps had a fairly easy equalizer 2nd. drive, but Lillith failed her first 2++ dodge first turn 2nd half. Leaviong the ball on the ground in only three zones. Which is basically open field for fling number 9, Aasgaard.
This meant the vamps were now playing for a draw. Hoping to win by sudden death. Chainey started with the ball this drive, deftly switched sides, by handing off to lioncourt. But even strength five and defensive could not stand agaisnt the rush of little people, and he was fouled off pitch, after a hard charge by Ivar.
With only one vampire left, the game was decided here, and the hins' third touchdown was only an icing on the cake. |
